The short version
CLUB stores the minimum needed for two things to work: reserving your Club ID and handing you your ticket. We never sell, rent or share your data for advertising, and there are no tracking cookies: the only cookie that exists appears if you open an account, and all it does is keep you signed in.
If you reserved your Club ID (the waitlist)
- Your email, used to assign your member number and to tell you when we open.
- Your member number. It's permanent — never recycled, never reassigned.
If you took a ticket for an event
- Your name, printed on your ticket and visible to the club hosting you, so they can recognise you at the door. No other attendee sees your name.
- Your email, used to send you the ticket and to warn you if the club moves or cancels the night. The organising club does not get your email address.
- The ticket record: which night it was for, whether it was used at the door and when.
No phone number, no ID document, no location. No account needed to get into an event — you can always continue as a guest.
If you opened an account (optional)
The account exists so your member card and your tickets live in one place. It is never required to take a ticket. If you open one, on top of the above we store:
- Your username and password. The password itself is never stored: we keep an irreversible scrypt hash that cannot be turned back into it.
- Whatever you put on your card: avatar, bio, traits, age and relationship status. All of it optional, and you can change or clear it any time from your card.
- Your session: a technical cookie whose only job is keeping you signed in. It expires after 30 days and is destroyed when you sign out. It tracks nothing and is shared with no one.
Your card is not indexed by search engines, and today there is no screen where another person can see your profile. Your email and your age never leave your own session.
Your ticket link is the key
Anyone holding your ticket link can open it and use it at the door. Treat it like a paper ticket: keep it, don't post it.
What stays on your phone
Your browser remembers three things so we don't have to ask again: your chosen language, your
member number, and your latest ticket code. They live only on your device
(localStorage), are not cookies, and are never sent to a server.
Who we work with
Resend (email), Upstash and Vercel (storage and hosting), Vercel Web Analytics (anonymous, cookie-free visit counts).
How long we keep it
Your member number and the record of the nights you attended are kept: at CLUB memory is part of the product. If you ask us to delete your data, we remove your name and email; an anonymous trace that a ticket existed may remain, with nothing pointing back to you.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted, any time — write to help@jointheclub.social.
